Level One Curriculum

Weekend One: Our Thoughts Create Our Reality / The Law of Attraction
In the initial weekend we lay the foundation for the entire training. Our focus is on the power of our thoughts, how thoughts create emotions, which in turn create our actions (or inactions) in life. Actions then affect our body and Spirit, ultimately creating the results we have (or don’t have) in our lives. Many of us know intellectually how our thoughts are co-creative and in this course you will begin to integrate and embody the tools in a way in which you will be able to manifest.

You will also discover what “old story” you are living out, and how to move into a “new story” – one that you get to create and generate. You will also learn how to go through this process with your clients, including how to create new belief systems, how to move from “victim” consciousness to taking responsibility for everything in your life and creating the life you (and/or your client) wants – one that works.

Weekend Two: Getting in Touch – Communication and Rapport
This weekend we will find ways to get in rapport with your client by looking for similarities. You will learn how to ask powerful questions that help people to look where they haven’t thought of looking before. Then you will learn to deepen your questions to uncover important information, which will guide you to being effective with your client. Active, deep listening skills will be practiced and we will move away from giving advice to assisting the client to “come upon” their own discoveries. You will begin to discover your passion and align your life around it, learn how to put yourself first, and how to take what you need for your Self. You will actually experience coaching from your passion as you get in touch with your unique calling.

Weekend Three: Emotions Rule the Day
We will focus on learning how to get in touch with your feelings and express them fully and then to provide a safe space for your clients to do the same. You will discover your “childhood wound,” and the passion and connection to your life purpose that arises out of that. You will experience this so that you can assist your clients as they go on this journey. This is life-altering work as we begin to no longer resist that which has caused us pain and anything else in our current life that resembles it. We call this “flipping the coin,” that is to say you will begin to focus on how to contribute to others the very thing that you so dearly wanted emotionally from Mom and/or Dad, distinct from trying to work on this issue. You will in turn shift from “need base” to “give base,” which will in turn begin to transform your relationship with your Self. You will also learn inner work techniques that your clients can do.

Weekend Four: The Body Knows
This weekend we will take a deeper look at how emotions affect us and are stored in the body. So much of what occurs in us lies dormant to the naked eye, but it lives in the unconscious – what we refer to as the “not quite yet conscious,” which can be accessed. You will learn how to do intuitive bodywork, how to access emotions and stories we hold onto through the body.

We will also learn how to listen for what your client wants and needs by watching their body. The body does not lie. You will learn the various emotional connections with the different areas of the body. You will also learn how to use the body as a key to open up the door to what’s really going on. Included will be guided visualizations and meditations.

Weekend Five: Love is the Answer
When people go into the “heat of the moment”, the stresses of everyday living, many times love is dropped out. We will explore true acceptance, first of oneself and then another. When love is present, “inspiration” – in Spirit – is also present.

Sometimes we need tools to get back to this place called “love.” When we are being supported spiritually on an ongoing basis, we can tap that and utilize it to our best use and assist our clients to do likewise, no matter what our religious orientation is. You will learn how to listen to synchronicities and signs and follow them. As throughout all the weekends, you will learn how to co-create your life working in alignment with Spirit and then assist your clients to do likewise.

Weekend Six: Putting it all Together
Here we put the puzzle together, the whole picture of who we are at a most basic level: our Essence, our Soul, our Passion, our Purpose, our Vision, our Mission, our chief Values, and what Inspires us. This is the synthesis of the four-prong approach: Body Mind, Spirit and Emotions. This then is the culmination of your re-identification of the Self, your “True Self.” This is quite distinct from your Ego Self and experientially much more fulfilling.

You will integrate all these aspects into your coaching model and be able to weave it all together in one picture and know when to use which tool and when not to, how to trust the timing of life and customize your coaching with each individual who is in fact that, an “individual.”

Level Two Curriculum

Weekend One: W.A.Y.? (Who Are You?) Your Way of Coaching The first weekend of the Second Level Training offers you the opportunity to creatively set up and design your practice around your passion. You will define what you want to offer clients and make a plan to achieve this. You will then go into action, with the support of your POD, to begin manifesting your plan. We will take a look at creating business opportunities that no one else could have imagined. Next, and of equal importance, each student will uncover what sabotages them. There will be extensive coaching to assist you in moving through these blocks in a deep, long-lasting way. Lastly, a line of accountability will be set up inside your PODs to insure you follow-through with right and meaningful action.

Weekend Two: Have it Your W.A.Y. Marketing In this course we get into nitty-gritty marketing tools that can be custom-designed around the way you want to do business. We discuss traditional tools such as logos, business cards, and other marketing materials. And then we go a step further – and enter what we call the “buzz-ness” of coaching. This is where you connect your passion and excitement with your business. You will get very specific about your offer and the best clients that you can and want to serve with the most ease and joy – thus creating a “niche” for yourself. We will also discuss networking and “netweaving” (supporting others and in turn receiving support). During this course, you will also come up with a tag line for the “lighthouse” that you are in the world and turn the light up brighter so that you will attract the clients and opportunities that you will naturally attract when you are being your authentic self.

Weekend Three: Visioning Your Practice into Be-ing The last weekend of the Second Level series pulls together all that we have been learning throughout Level One and Level Two. You begin to “see” your practice unfolding – and feel it and believe it into fruition. Vision is the ability to see from your heart, to “know” and “claim” for yourself that which is your purpose here on the planet – your destiny. You will connect with your power and your commitment to your personal vision and embark upon your success-full journey of manifestation. We will once again connect with the power of the Law of Attraction, and other tools such as switch words and scripting, to engage fully in the manifestation process. Finally, we will celebrate your completion of this part of your journey as you receive your diploma and become a LifeWorks Certified Coach.
